Tillinghast Creeping Bentgrass

Tillinghast Creeping Bentgrass is a high density creeping bentgrass ideal for closely mown putting greens. It has a high resistance to poa annua invasion, is fine textured with a medium-dark green colour and has high disease resistance.

    Tillinghast Creeping Bentgrass (agrostis stolonifera) was named after A.W.Tillinghast (Tillie), a prolific golf course designer/builder in the early 1900’s. This cultivar has demonstrated excellent turf quality in the 2020 NTEP trials. It is fine textured with a medium dark-green colour. Tillinhast shows superior resistance to Dollar Spot, Brown Patch as well as Anthracnose and Pythium Root Rot.
