- General Details
Sword Hard Fescue is ideal for golf course roughs, also areas that are shaded, parks and for stabilizing roadsides. It thrives in low input management programs where little or no nitrogen is applied and mowing and irrigation is limited. Mature stands are short-statured with seedhead expression normally above knee height and a maximum height of 750 mm achieved with lower seeding rates and optimum conditions and soils.
