- General Details
Sceptre 230 SC is a contact fungicide, that stops a regulatory enzyme required for glycerol synthesis. This inhibits growth of germ tubes of the spore and mycelia on turf. When a pathogen(that is controlled by Sceptre) is exposed to Fludioxonil and increase in osmotic pressure occurs inside the cell causing the hyphal tips to burst.
