Chino will control pythium in the leaf, crown and roots. Chino is the perfect fungicide for a preventative control program on pythium in all turf grasses. Chino binds well to plant material and will not move far after the application has dried and absorbed even after heavy rainfall.
- General Details
Chino is a translaminar systemic fungicide to control Pythium Leaf Blight, Pythium Root Dysfunction and Pythium Root Rot in turf grasses. Chino works by disrupting electron transport during mitochondria respiration. This inhibition occurs at all stages of fungal development resulting in the inability for the fungal infection to develop spores or mycelium, preventing the pathogen from spreading.
