Circular patches appear as small. Water soaked spots less than 5cm in diameter. Patches change in colour from orange-brown to dark brown and finally to a light gray.

    Conditions Favouring Disease

    More than 10 hours a day of foliar wetness for several consecutive days. Cool temperatures, heavy thatch and slow growing conditions. Soil high in nitrogen fertility and low phosphorus and potassium.

    Management Tips

    Maintain balance fertility, avoid using lime as alkaline soils enhance disease development, maintain a low pH. Avoid excessive thatch, minimise the amount of shade, use slow release fertilisers.

    Dedicate 2 to 3 L/Ha

    Dedicate is strong on ERI and patch diseases as well as offering useful control over a range of foliar pathogens. Dedicate is a must in any program.

    Chipco GT 10 to 20 L/Ha

    Chipco Gt will provide quick knockdown of Fusarium, Dollar Spot, Brown Patch and other diseases.

    Headway Maxx 9 L/Ha

    The only dual systemic fungicide that controls and prevents all major turf diseases.

    Medallion 3 L/Ha

    Medallion attacks germinating spores and developing fungal mycelium to rapidly clean and protect external surfaces.

    Banner Maxx 5 to 10 L/Ha

    Banner Maxx is an excellent choice to use early curatively, after first disease symptoms become evident.
