Paspalum is a perennial grass weed that spreads through the transportation of sticky seeds, easily adhering themselves to pets, shoes and turf equipment before falling off in a new location.

  1. General Information

    Paspalum is a perennial grass weed starts as a clump and then spreads throughout sparse and poor performing turf. It has a purple tinge at the base of broad grass leaves that stem from a central crown.

  2. Treating Solutions
    Gauntlet 3.3 to 6.6 L/Ha

    Gauntlet is registered to control Crab Grass, Summer Grass and Paspalum in common and hybrid Couch Grass. Do not apply to Bent Grass, Fescue, Blue Grass, Kikuyu or Dichondra lawns.

    Tribute 1.5 to 2 L/Ha

    Tribute is for the post-emergent control of Winter grass, Rye grass, Goose grass, Crowsfoot, Paspalum and suppression of Kikuyu.

    Barricade 1-4 L/Ha

    For pre-emergent control of weeds in established turf for up to 6 months.
