Crowsfoot seed heads appear from late spring or early summer and can have 10 spikelets on each long stem. It infiltrates quickly, so it must be either prevented using a pre-emergent herbicide or early with a post-emergent herbicide.
- General Information
Crowsfoot has a spiked flower with a similar appearance to that of a crows foot. It is a summer annual that grows in easy to identify tufts, staying flat to the ground with almost white flat sheathed stems and smooth strap like leaves.
- Treating Solutions
Oryzalin 500 is a unique pre-emergent herbicide, which is applied to the soil or surface to selectively control Winter Grass, Annual Rye Grass, Crab Grass and Chickweed in turf situations. Oryzalin also inhibits root growth in certain small seeded broadleaf weds and will bind strongly to soil colloids so it is unlikely to leach or move.
Tribute is for the post-emergent control of Winter grass, Rye grass, Goose grass, Crowsfoot, Paspalum and suppression of Kikuyu.
Specticle Herbicide is a new and innovative pre-emergent herbicide for warm-season turf. Long residual control - up to 8 months. Non staining and no odour.
